Akwantukese 2012
We say AKWAABA (welcome) to all and sundry who would like to participate or witness the festivities lined up for Akwantukese 2012. Simultaneously, we shall also celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the reign of our Omanhene, Daasebre Emeritus Oti Boateng.
PERFORMANCE OF TRADITIONAL RITES AT THE OBUOTABIRI CAVE
Traditional prayers will be offered at the Obuotabiri Cave in Koforidua on Friday 21st September, 2012.
CEREMONY TO MARK MIGRATION FROM OLD JUABEN TO NEW JUABEN
The traditional rites to mark the migration from Juaben in Asante Region to New Juaben will be performed at Suhyien on Friday 28th September, 2012.
GRAND DURBAR OF THE CHIEFS AND PEOPLE NEW JUABEN
Akwantukese 2012 will be crowned with a grand durbar of the chiefs and people of Koforidua on Saturday 3rd November, 2012.
BOOK LAUNCH
A book on the reign of Daasebre Emeritus Oti-Boateng will be launched in Accra on Tuesday 30th October, 2012.
